Remember how as a little girl you wanted to get married in a castle, just like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and all of the other princesses who lived happily ever after? Well, we have some great news for you: a tiara is not a requirement to have the castle wedding of your dreams.
For those brides who have a more modern taste, we’ve found the perfect venues for you, too. And, here’s the cherry on top, all of these venues can be found at one easy location, Airbnb.
Airbnb, in case you haven’t heard about it before, is a travel guide that steers you to homes instead of hotels in the places you’re traveling to. This service has become so popular because a) it’s often cheaper than a hotel room and b) your travel experience is enriched by the expertise and hospitality of the locals you stay with.
But people have started using Airbnb as a source to find wedding venues. Smart, right? You can search the website for venues near the area you will be getting married in, whether it’s locally or on an island in the Pacific! Either you or your guests can then spend the night at these lovely venues.
We’ve made a wish list of some of our favorite venues from around the world on Airbnb to inspire your own search for the perfect venue.
